Prof. Christof Fetzer, Ph.D [1]
Christof Fetzer received his diploma in computer science from the University of Kaiserlautern, Germany (Dec. 1992, with honor) and his Ph.D. from UC San Diego ( March 1997, GPA 4.0). As a student he received a two-year scholarship from the DAAD and won two best student paper awards (SRDS and DSN). He was a finalist of the 1998 Council of Graduate Schools/UMI distinguished dissertation award and won an IEE mather premium in 1999.
Dr. Fetzer joined AT&T Labs-Research in August 1999 and has been a principal member of technical staff until March 2004. Since April 2004 he has an endowed chair (Heinz-Nixdorf endowment) in Systems Engineering in the Computer Science Department at the Dresden University of Technology.
He is the chair of the Computational Engineering International Masters Program at the Computer Science Department. Prof. Dr. Fetzer has published over 50 research papers in the field of dependable systems and is a member of the following program committees.
Zbigniew Jerzak [2]
Zbigniew Jerzak received his diploma in computer science from the Silesian Technical University, Gliwice, Poland (05/2003). During his studies he spent one semester in Germany (Baden Wuerttemberg Landesstiftung) and UK (SOCRATES programme). In October 2003 he started his PhD studies at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In April 2004 he transferred to the Dresden University of Technology (Systems Engineering Group). Dr Grzegorz Hryń [3]
Grzegorz Hryń received his diploma in computer science from the Silesian University of Technology,Gliwice, in 1996, In 2005 he received a Ph.D. diploma. As a student he received one year scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Education.
Since 1996 Grzegorz Hryń is a member of Theory and Design of Computer Systems group at the Silesian University of Technology.
